Celox-A (All New Applicator Delivery System)

Celox is a new high-performance granular hemostatic material. It is a propriety marine biopolymer designed to stop high-volume arterial bleeding. Celox is suitable for many applications, from deep arterial bleeds to superficial wounds.

Recognizing the demand for an application-specific solution to the urgent nature of emergencies requiring hemostatic agents, SAM Medical has designed an applicator delivery system that addresses the needs of EMS providers, physicians, and medical providers in remote settings. The applicator and plunger system now make it possible for the hemostatic agent to reach deep into the site of a traumatic wound, getting straight to the source of bleeding. Now with a newly designed, more durable plunger/applicator, and sold singly. Each applicator/plunger contains 6g (0.2oz) of Celox granule.

CELOX® Hemostat does not generate any heat, produce burning, nor does it embed itself into the wound.
Controls hemorrhaging at all blood temperatures, even hypothermic patients.
Blood stopping granules are lightweight, packaged in sterilized, sealed packets which are easy and fast to open.
Clots Heparinzed Blood (works on patients taking blood thinning medications).
